Cubed Talent are hiring for a new permanent vacancy, Supply Chain Analyst on behalf of our client who supply window blinds, curtain poles and home interior products to major retailers and own brands.
We are looking for a highly numerate, efficient, Supply Chain Analyst to join their busy home interiors team and manage inventory and purchase merchandise.
The role is based in Bradford and hours are Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm and reports to the Chief Operating Officer. The role can be hybrid if needed but would ideally like to be in the office min 3 days a week. Due to the location of the office, you really do need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities include monitoring sales on line using the company SAP system, tracking shipments from overseas, overseeing inventory audits and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with supply chain procedures and have good communication skills to interact with vendors, clients and internal teams, as well as managing the same pot of stock over multiple customer requirements. A good understanding of merchandising responsibilities including critical path management would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities;
Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS) across our number of retail customer - main priority
Work with customers to understand their product estimates against previous sales history to ensure the correct supply of stock
Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into stock system
Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed
Track shipments and address any delays, working with factories to manage the packaging and approval process of the goods
Managing the container fill and the shipment of goods from India and China
Coordinate regular inventory audits
Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products quality (status upon delivery and storage conditions)
Keep updated stock records and identify any areas where stock may be different on the systems to the stock available
Ensure purchases do not exceed budget
Updating and managing critical path.Requirements;

Proven work experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role is essential
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Experience using SAP is advantageous but training will be provided.
Excellent Excel Skills are a must - pivot tables, v-look up.
Excellent organization skills and good attention to details
Good communication and negotiation abilities
The role will involve occasional visits to retail client head offices throughout the UK so candidates need to be professional and well presented.Working Hours:

Mon-Fri 9-5pm
Hybrid working is available, but must be willing to be in the office at least 3 days a week.
