Job Description

We are looking for a Purchasing Administrator for a client in B76
Perm
£23-25k
37.5 hours a week

Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels and place purchase orders with Suppliers
- Proactively communicate with suppliers to create and maintain relationships
- Expedite/postpone orders to meet business requirements
- Troubleshoot stock supply issues
- Book product inspections
- Communicate with Customer Services and Sales team for stock availability
- Update stock arrival dates on system
- Liaise with suppliers for the best shipment methods
- Chase shipping documents
- Order materials in the UK, if required, and send them to Suppliers in the Far East
- Execute suspended receipts if required
- Validate supplier invoices
- Compile reports for suppliers and management
- Backup to other team members
- Ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Skills and Experience

- High attention to details with a high level of accuracy, good numeracy skills
- Enthusiasm and results focus, with an ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
- Initiative in problem solving
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Flexible & able to follow instructions
- Good Excel skills
