Our global, market leading client has a permanent vacancy for an experienced Buyer to join their Procurement Team. The role includes the purchasing of products, good and services. Working with departments on their purchasing requirements, sourcing and processing of purchase orders / agreements with quality sustainable suppliers, negotiating at the lowest costs.

Skills and Experience:
• Background and experience in manufacturing purchasing.
• Qualifications CIPS (or studying) or Business Studies/ Engineering qualifications.
• Excellent communication skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft excel.
• Ideally experienced working with MRP / ERP business/ Procure-pay software.
• Self motivated person working within a small team with a positive " can do "attitude.
• A person who can bring and add value of expertise to areas of expenditure.
• Role would suit a Buyer looking to progress a career within Purchasing .
