Direct Buyer

A high-growth global healthcare company is currently looking to recruit a Direct Buyer at their UK headquarters in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, ideally with proven procurement experience within Medical device / Pharma industry.

The Role
You would play a key role as part of the Procurement Team taking responsibility for procuring goods and services required by internal stakeholders within the company. The role requires communication with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and purchase, ensuring consistent control of our spend. You would support the business to expand volumes, product range and variation of raw materials and services within all departments, coordinating between manufacturing, quality, development, regulatory, finance and legal to ensure all procurement is centralized and cost effective.

The Candidate
- Proven procurement experience within medical device / pharma industry, preferably ISO13485
- Ideally MCIPS qualified, and degree educated
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels internally and externally
- Enjoy working in an agile, fast-paced, busy environment.
- Experience in building relationships in varied environments.
- Able to analyse and rationalize data effectively
