About the role

Our client has built a fantastic reputation for making beautiful women''s clothing that tell a story. They are looking for an assistant manager for this fast-growing, ladies fashion brand and you''ll be based in their flagship store in Bluewater.

There''s no micro-management here. You''ll be supporting the store manager to be imaginative in the way you drive footfall, and engage with the community that surrounds your store. You''ll be encouraged to try new things as you lead your team.

About you

You''ve got a background in fast paced, high street fashion with extensive demonstrable retail experience. The Assistant Manager will need to have strong people management skills, be commercially minded, have an interest in fashion and previous management/ supervisory experience within a fast-paced fashion retail environment. You must be highly organised, self- motivated, possess excellent communication skills and have strong people management experience. You will enjoy a challenge, promote a positive store environment, and be passionate about the customer.

Responsibilities:

Have lots of autonomy to deliver store KPIs including store turnover
Lead a team committed to exceptional, energetic and customer focused staff.
Build productive relationships with neighbouring stores
Support and develop your team
Take responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and customers
Achieving personal and store targets
Visual merchandising
Commerciality of the store
Delivering exceptional customer service - Managing stock

Previous experience with womenswear is preferred.

This is role is 35 hours over 5 days per week, worked over a 7 day schedule. This will include evenings and weekends.
