We are pleased to assist to our client with their recruitment for a Category Assistant for their Head Office in the UK. Excellent career opportunities, with development offered within the roles within the company, friendly atmosphere and 3 days working at home and 2 days in the office.
This role reports to the Category Manager, this role will provide daily administrative support to a team of Product Group Managers. Responsibilities will include new product information gathering, product query resolution, supporting the production of printed and digital product media, product data maintenance and supplier agreement.
Interpersonal and communication skills are a must as you collaborate and engage across other function, proving excellent customer service to all, as is flexibility and good organisational skills as you provide administrative support to the wider business and Category team.
Duties to include:
Data collation from supplier partners, ensuring all data is complete, accurate and uploaded to deadlines.
Product data maintenance - entry and maintenance of new and existing product reference data to ensure that it is accurate and optimised to support the wider business.
Co-ordinating Product Notifications within your assigned product category.
Co-ordinate sales enquiries from internal and external customers within your product category.
Support with Vendor Compliance Report
