JOB TITLE Shipping & Customs Clerk

LOCATION Luton Airport

SALARY £30,500 per annum

HOURS 39 hours/week Monday-Friday

GBA Services are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and engaging team players to join their busy office based at Luton Airport.

The Role

Carrying out customer requests as per service SOP agreements

Using a strong level of forwarding experience to assist with customer queries

Complete Shipments from Start to Finish / International Air, Sea and Road movements / Customs Entry & relevant Import & Export Documents / Customer Stock Inventory management / Performing Critical Airside deliveries / Liaising with Suppliers, Customs, Third Party Agents

Ensuring compliance with all company procedures

The Person

The right candidate will have exceptional customer services skills and ideally have knowledge of relevant import and export documentation. Also a sound understanding of end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations would be advantageous, however training and upskilling is available for the right person.

Some other attributes that we are looking for:

Ability to demonstrate strong administrational & operational skillsets.

Ability to work on own initiative as well as building strong relationships and collaborating with the team.

Proven communication, time management and organisation skills are essential.

Client orientated, Service Driven, Self-Motivated

Excellent organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve

This is an exciting and challenging role and you will need to be able to multitask, prioritise your own workload and communicate in a professional way. We use a range of Microsoft products throughout the business, so a good working knowledge is required.
