Salary: £31,171 + private medical, pension, death in service, 33 days holidays (including bank holidays) + once you have passed your probation period you will be receive a 10% ASDA Discount Card
Full Time and Permanent - Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week

Job Purpose:
The Procurement Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the subcontract management services on behalf of the Asda account, ensuring we manage all planned maintenance schedules, and making sure that our subcontractors deliver 100% legal compliance monthly.
The Procurement Operations Manager will conduct regular audits of the subcontractors and will support the delivery of SRM s on behalf of the Asda account. The role will also support the insurance inspection administrator in managing the defects process, ensuring that timed defects are closed by the due date.
The Procurement Operations Manager will be required to liaise with the other Procurement colleagues and other functions across City Group ensure we manage the risk around subcontractors. This role will also require the Procurement Operations Manager to support the Procurement Transformation Director in the delivery of transformation projects and ad hoc tasks.
Key Accountabilities:
Supervision of the Asda Subcontract Controller Team to ensure all tasks are delivered and allocated across the team accordingly and appropriate planning is in place for holidays and absence to ensure we have continuation of service of the teams duties and client obligations
Support the Procurement Transformation Director in delivering the new Dynamics solution for the City Group business
Maintain and manage all Planned Maintenance schedules, ensuring PPMs are delivered on time by the subcontractors, keeping our customers legally compliant
Manage SLA/KPI performance of the subcontractors through reporting and SRM s
Create SRM schedule for key subcontractors and manage delivery of the SRM s with the Subcontract Controllers
Ensure that Compliance PPMs are chased to 100% completion on a monthly basis
Collate, propose, and construct annual subcontractor planned maintenance budgets, circa £25m.
Present monthly budget positions of any forecast changes to Finance department - business/budgetary planning and cost control
Provide daily status reporting on non-operational assets
Financial Responsibility:
Manage & control all capital and revenue spend for subcontractors including working with the finance teams for both ALS and retail ensuring financial compliance objectives are met.
