Expeditor

We are looking to recruit an Expeditor to join a manufacturing company in Eastbourne.
You will be working in the purchasing/procurement department and be responsible for placing orders and chasing up and pulling forward purchases to assist with any production shortages.
You will work from a shortage list and email & call suppliers to ensure an efficient supply chain.
You would then update production with revised lead times.

The successful candidate will have experience in a buying / buyer / purchasing role and have a proactive and organised approach.

This is a 6-12 month temporary role and your hours will be 08.00-17.00 Monday - Thursday and 08.00-13.00 on Friday.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week working remotely, although this could vary.

The hourly rate is £15-£16 per hour depending on experience, on a 37 hour week (£28,860 + p/a)
