Are you an experienced Buyer with knowledge of developing and managing designated product ranges, such as Gifting, Leisure, Homeware, Cookware, Candles and Fragrance?

Are you looking for a friendly large purchasing team to work with? Do you ensure that the product offering is of the not only the highest quality but meets customer demand, whilst achieving agreed gross sales and margin?

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an award-winning business to join the experienced buying team as a Buyer with responsibility of multi category product ranges for a diverse but hugely successful retailer. The role is a hybrid role with the need to be in the office in Dorset 3 days a week and working from home 2 days.

As Buyer you will be the merchandise controller, working with a Buying Assistant to ensure stocks are in line with Company targets. Responsible for multiple SKUs and a diverse category in a fast paced environment you will work on the department strategies and agree with the Senior buyer.

You must be capable of selecting and negotiating on a diverse category of product ranges and choose the right ranges for the business while at Tarde Shows and Exhibitions with suppliers to maximise sales in this multi-site successful business.

As Buyer you will visit trade shows both in the UK and internationally and ensure that ranges are innovative and exciting for your customers whilst conducting negotiations with suppliers to maximise gross margins.
