The Role
In your role as a Technical Services Supervisor you will:

Be responsible for managing/overseeing the work undertaken by a team of specialists in the completion of a seamless maintenance programme (Scheduled, Reactive and Remedial) within the Region (or a designated area).
To ensure that all work undertaken by both internal and external resources are evaluated, assessed, and meet statutory regulatory compliance and legal responsibilities of the business. Proactive and effective use of resources (people/finance/equipment/contractors) by continuously looking to reduce costs with a view to identifying/creating cost efficiency in current working practices/activities etc.
Resolving problems as they arise whether directly or by assembling teams to solve those issues.
Required Skills

Hold Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in related building services
Formal apprenticeship or craft trained equivalent.
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent and appropriate knowledge of Health & Safety COSHH environment standards.
Full UK Driving Licence
Demonstrable experience of managing and working with contractors and acting when required to resolve unsatisfactory work.
Competency in manual handling, working at height, confined spaces, legionella & asbestos awareness.
Able to work from drawings and written specifications.

HNC/ONC In Building Services
IPAF/PASMA License
CSCS Card Holder
People Management qualification
Awareness and understanding of CDM 2015 for both building maintenance & small project works.
