Job Description

Our client, a Motorcycle Dealership in the GU postcode area of Surrey is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Aftersales Advisor. A previous background in Parts and Service is essential as well as a passion for Motorcycles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing industry.

Main Tasks:

  • Receive customer enquiries by telephone and in person and successfully convert these into firm bookings.
  • Maximise service sales and profitability
  • Accurately record vehicle information
  • Effectively operate the workshop loading system adding additional work
  • Ensure customers are advised of all work undertaken and of the need for any further or future repair or servicing requirements
  • Collect payment for cash repairs to vehicles at time of customer collection. Accurately maintain cash/credit recording systems and ensure security of all payments received.
  • Ensure all warranty and other free-of-charge work has been identified and signed for by the customer.
  • Contact customers prior to visit to confirm booking and vehicle information, details of work to be carried out and method of payment
  • Receive all parts orders, interpreting customer/workshop requirements and giving advice on any additional requirements or prices, matching orders against stock items and advising customer of any items which are not stocked or need ordering.
  • Make up Parts orders for despatch
  • Maintain showroom, service and other parts displays within the Centre
  • Ensure all documentation relating to stock movements, both routine and exceptional are accurately recorded within the stock control system

We are looking for people who are:

  • Enthusiastic, friendly and helpful
  • Committed to delivering an excellent customer service
  • Excellent communicators, organised and have great inter-personal skills
  • The ability to effectively communicate with customers by face-face, telephone and written
  • Good mechanical / electrical awareness and understanding of bikes
  • Experience using Kerridge ADP would be an advantage

Requirements:A full current UK driving licence

Working hours are based on a 45 hour week Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.
