We are looking for Maintenance Support Technician to join the Water Recycling Team, who will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager in the management and operations of pumping stations, the maintenance of assets on both pumping stations and Water Recycling Centres.

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Support Technician?

Your role as a Maintenance Support Technician will be to improve the performance and efficiency of operational assets and activities within your team area.? You''ll need to provide effective delivery of Planned and Reactive Work on a day to day basis, you will provide mechanical and electrical technical support to the Maintenance and Treatment?Managers and their teams.

You will also be required to undertake project work within the area which may include reducing operating costs or the optimisation of mechanical and electrical assets.

What does it take to be a Maintenance Support Technician?

You will have an NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent in a relevant maintenance discipline coupled with practical experience of fault finding and improvement of mechanical and electrical assets through PPM and good RCA. A? good Knowledge of water recycling processes and associated Health and Safety requirements will be essential to the role, as would knowledge of business systems? including SAP,IRIS,GNET, HAWK, and business process such as Traffic management and Oracle. As the sites operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year you will need a flexible approach to working hours, be able to work on your own initiative and be willing and able to take on responsibility.
