Job Description

Our client is a London-based agency looking for an Account Manager/Account Director to join their team. Working with their streaming/digital clients you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and managing the account within specific segments, markets and portfolio.

You will function as the Strategic Business Leader of the account within a market, have overall responsibility for achieving account''s revenue goals, clients'' and employees'' satisfaction and the financial performance of the department. Leads proactive commercial sales functions to build a long-term, value-based customer relationship that enables achievement of the company''s objectives. Supports and participates in various sales channels and develops strong working relationships to maximize accounts'' profitability. Strategic focus on delivering products and services to meet and exceed the needs and expectation of the client and provide a return on investment to the owners of the company.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ownership of budget and profitability targets Responsible for the customer experience & client engagement for your accounts Ownership of the Account Strategy and plan to drive growth Effective Team Management, objective setting and leadership Ownership of resource management and capacity planning / forecasting for the Account Ownership of continuous improvement and quality tracking/compliance Responsible for identifying and up-selling additional activity Ongoing measurement of client satisfaction Complying with ISO standards for quality and security Identifying opportunities for process improvement

Responsibilities & Duties

To develop and lead new business activity, to grow revenue in line with budgets and strategic business plans. To oversee Account management activities, guide complex projects and workload. This may involve some hands on support. Commercial analysis - setting pricing, reviewing commercial performance monthly, understanding resource usage. Provide regular forecast of activity and revenue to help manage resource assignment. Identify any resource gaps and drive successful resource implementation. To develop our business relationship with key customers to enable us to grow our value proposition and service offering To actively sell our full value proposition and service offering To actively identify and mitigate risks in our risk assessment framework Build key account plans and implement effectively Maintain awareness of developments in the streaming market to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position. Develops market intelligence: new product ideas, competition activities, new customer trends and performance Team leadership. Sets goals and expectations for direct reports and holds employees accountable for successful performance; coaches team by providing specific feedback to improve performance Implements and manages training initiatives and conducts training when appropriate; ensures self and direct reports attend appropriate core training classes (ISO compliance). Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position and monitors progress. Ensures regular communication is happening in all areas of responsibility to create awareness of business objectives and communicate expectations, recognize performance and produce desired business results. Celebrates successes and publicly recognizes the contributions of team members; ensures recognition is taking place across areas of responsibility Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
